● Manages the annual financial planning/budgeting processes and prepares the annual operating budget. Works with the Executive Director and board to develop/implement program and organizational budgets;● Prepares monthly profit/loss, balance sheet and cash flow financial statements. Monitors, interprets, and presents financial results of operations and programs each month. Serves as a financial liaison with the board, providing financial reports;● Supervises the Accountant and approves accounts receivable and payable;● Oversees payroll, payroll liabilities, and benefits;● Prepares budgets and financial reports for grants and tracks reporting of MENAHRA’s project/program budgets and expenditures. Works with MENAHRA’s team and management for timely grant proposal and grant report submissions;● Creates and maintains excellent financial controls as per MENAHRA’s policies and procedures;● Ensures efficient functioning and documentation for all financial systems including receipts, disbursements, billing, bookkeeping, budgeting and accounting;● Oversees the accuracy of the organizational accounting records and maintains the chart of accounts;● Monitors security of organization’s financial assets;● Supervises month-end closings and bank reconciliations;● Reviews project award and sub-award documents and budgets as needed;● Assists the External Auditor in the completion of the annual audit report;● Ensures timely production, and supports review of, project invoices;● Works with staff as appropriate in achieving financial management goals;● Acts as the liaison to the Board in matters related to finance;● Respects the Code of Conduct, Prevention from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Policy (PSEA) and Gender Policy;● Abides by and promotes the practices and values set out in all MENAHRA policies and procedures;● Undertakes all other duties that are compatible with the job;● Provides complete support to the SSR and network members as needed.

-Handles all bookkeeping, utilizing the authorized Accounting System and ensuring daily transaction recording;-Prepares payments upon the approval of the Finance Manager for consultants and vendors, in accordance with MENAHRA's Financial Policies and Procedures, valid agreements, and approved budgets; - Performs monthly reconciliations of bank and cash accounts;- Conducts weekly cash counts of petty cash and cash funds held by Programs’ staff; - Prepares remuneration and allowances payments to all staff upon approval; - Supports the External Auditor and prepares needed documents for their monthly visit, including agreements, invoices, receipts…;- Maintains the cash management by recording all the cash withdrawn from the bank, and confirms that all expenditures are justified by an invoice, payment vouchers, and a receipt- Prepares the Salaries Payment Vouchers at the end of each month;- Obtains quotations when a procurement is needed;- Extracts on a monthly basis the: (1) cash statement and reconciles it with the petty cash, and (2) bank statement and prepares the bank reconciliation by comparing the bank statement and files statement;-Helps the Finance Manager in preparing for the Board of Directors’ meetings and Grant Management trainings;-Collects the boarding passes from the participants of all activities;- Monitors all the sub-recipients reports at the end of each month to guarantee that all the expenditures made by the sub-recipients are for the benefit of the program;

• Performs general ledger accounting functions for the purpose of ensuring that department functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner.• Prepares monthly account reconciliations (Cash, Banks, Clients & Suppliers).• Direct contact with the banks with an excellent relationship in Lebanon and abroad.• Prepares Income Tax, CNSS, VAT • Assists with the fiscal year-end closing. • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other relevant reports.• Suppliers follow-up.• Petty cash reconciliation registration and replenishment requests.• Prepares (cheques/online transfers/monthly payroll)• Inventory and stock control.• Prepares all sales/purchases invoices.
