I am a healthcare professional with over 25 years of extensive experience across preclinical, translational, and clinical research, with data, oncology, and (molecular) informatics as central themes. My career spans roles in preclinical, clinical, and market phases of the pharmaceutical pipeline, giving me a comprehensive perspective on the challenges of therapy discovery, development, and data governance.In my current role, I manage a large public-private National Growth Fund program aimed at advancing oncology preclinical discovery and development, leading a team of program managers, coordinating activities across multiple consortia, including data governance.At the forefront of the setup and implementation of Health-RI, I developed and managed a nation-wide healthcare research data infrastructure for translational biomedical research. This involved coordinating development and deployment activities of more than 20 scientific developers to meet the needs of over 5,000 researchers worldwide, optimizing data quality, flows, and sharing.Within Oncode Institute, I set up the initial Open Science and FAIR data programme. My background as a molecular Informatician in pharmaceutical R&D roles provides a robust foundation in data management, having contributed to multidisciplinary research projects that led to current marketed cancer treatments. I understand the core data management needs for preclinical, clinical, and real-world data applications and excel at translating cross-disciplinary needs into actionable, data-driven solutions.I am a skilled team leader, adept at motivating research teams towards common goals.
