I was responsible for the business continuity program development for the Information Services & Technology division at CBS Corporation and disaster recovery support for all CBS divisions. As part of my tenure at CBS I developed the crisis management & emergency response process and team, developed a team of location leaders & location emergency plans, integrated disaster solution readiness as part of our application projects methodology, and perform business risk assessments / business impact analyses.

In addition to managing several complex projects, I led a team of project managers responsible for managing data center build out and relocation projects for customer production and disaster recovery environments. I also led several IBM internal projects leveraging emerging technologies & virtualization to automate provisioning of virtual recovery environments, projects to design new and improve existing delivery processes, software development projects and supported customer business continuity programs.

I managed IBM's National Emergency Operations Center during major regional disasters coordinating IBM services & response to companies affected by disaster events. I also managed IBM's Emergency Response readiness program which includes a national education program, process development & enhancement, application development and team drills as well as mock exercises. Regional Disasters I've supported include: the North ridge earthquake, 9/11 attacks, northeast power outage, Boston bombings, Midwest floods and all land falling hurricanes from 1996 - 2012 (i.e. storms such as Super storm Sandy, Irene, Katrina, Rita, Isaac, Ivan, Floyd & Gloria). We also were the global command center for the IBM BCRS business unit during Y2K.

I led a team of systems technology support professionals across 20 locations nationwide. I worked with the team to streamline process and procedures, implement best practices, and develop a national education & training program. In addition, I developed and hosted an annual IBM BCRS Technical Exchange training conference for IBM business continuity technical professionals from around the globe. I also provided AS/400 & RISC systems support to clients during disaster recovery exercises.

I led customer beta-test studies, usability testing, documentation, packaging and trade show demonstrations for new software products.

I developed and implemented point of sale solutions for IBM clients, supported pre-sales solution design and sales proposal solution development.

I was the Technology Advisor on the Board of Directors for a not-for-profit organization - BNet Incorporated. BNet Incorporated specializes in Public - Private partnership emergency management programs. As the Technology Advisor - I helped develop the Corporate Emergency Access System program (CEAS) program https://ceas.com including the website presence, program development, process design, logo design and development of a web-based training content and program.
