I am a seasoned storyteller with fifteen years of experience in filmmaking and photography. My passion lies in capturing and narrating the stories of people, spaces, products, or initiatives that matter and positively impact our society. I am fascinated by human paradoxes, in a quest to understand the essence of interpersonal relationships and what bonds us all. For every opportunity to tell a story I ask myself –What’s the potential I find in this subject? Is it reflecting inclusivity, a change-making mindset, is it promoting community, connection, is it ethically innovative? Be the subject either a product or a human being, how do I relate to it as a first-hand user, or receiver? How does it impact my life to imagine how it can impact others? What do I know about the target audience to envision how my story would inspire them? With this criteria I am able to build a meaningful connection with the subject I am ought to empower and create stories tailored to a well-known audience. In my free time, you can always find me happily listening to people and then asking them questions that lead to fulfilling conversations.Over the years, I have cultivated a strong interest in writing, strategy and marketing, starting my journey as an Advocate and Brand Representative for friends who thought I could re-write their company's story. This experience has leveraged my storytelling abilities to raise awareness, foster genuine communities, and reach like-minded audiences. I believe language should consistently reflect one’s agency across all forms of communication and it’s the value we put in people that matters the most when creating content.In addition to my professional roles, I have initiated personal projects such as the editorial IRL Stories, a diary-like series showcasing performing artists thriving in these radical times. This project has allowed me to further hone my writing skills and explore new creative avenues. I am currently seeking opportunities that align with my interests and skillset.
