As the Director, Gaming and Lotteries, I play a key role in creating, implementing and evaluating gaming and lottery programs. Staying ahead of the curve with a heavy emphasis on creativity and innovation.• Develop and implement a plan for managing and implementing the gaming portfolio including strategy and staffing recommendations• Work closely with AGCO and volunteer on committees to improve the gaming portfolio• Provide support and direction as necessary to the Development Officers and Managers in Special Events and Corporate Sponsorship• Work cooperatively and effectively with team to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance the Foundation’s effectiveness• Positively influence and coach staff to achieve results and reach their annual budgets• Ensure all staff members receive appropriate training to develop their skill set• Work with each position to develop a “vision” and a fundraising plan for their area that corresponds with the vision and strategic plan for the Foundation. • Ensure appropriate key result indicators are in place and determine mutually acceptable benchmarks for success for each program• Carry out personal assignments with specific major gift prospects working with Board members and other key volunteers when appropriate• Work in partnership with the Leadership Team to identify opportunities through annual fund activities to cultivate and steward major gift prospects and donors• Work closely with the Senior Leadership of the Foundation to ensure all activities in your area are fully integrated with the workings of the foundation as a whole
