Risk & Performance Improvement Services- Participation as field work responsible in several advisory projects in Portugal, Luanda and London:- Planning, setting up and coordination of teams;- Identification and assessment of risks in the context of the elaboration of remediation plans;- Development and implementation of business processes;- Implementation of accounting policies;- Production of manuals of procedures;- Restructuring of organizations (public and private sectors);- Support to the clients’ internal audit teams;- Preparation of final deliverables to the client;- Identification of business opportunities and preparation of proposals.

- Participation as field work responsible in several audit projects in Portugal and Angola, namely: BP Portugal, Sonangol Group, Iberwind, José de Mello Saúde Group, Espírito Santo Viagens and SAG Group;- Responsibilities in work planning and coordination and management of teams;- Solid experience in obtaining an understanding of the significant classes of transactions related to the clients’ businesses and the internal controls in place, including the design and performing of testing procedures;- Execution of full audit programmes, including substantive testing and analytical review procedures;- Reviewer of the team’s work and reporting directly to managers, senior managers and partners;- Relationship management and participation in key meetings with clients, with responsibilities for the communication of the major audit findings;- Experience in preparing Portuguese and English audit reports (overall financial analysis and analytical reviews, audit opinion forms – for statutory and group purposes, management letters with recommendations on how to improve the quality of the internal control environment);- IAS/IFRS and USGAAP reporting;- Participation as a trainer / facilitator on annual training sessions provided to clients and EY trainees (SNC adoption, MS Excel and Internal Controls).- Strong knowledge on Accounting and National and International Standards;- PC Literate: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access; SAP R/3 as user; Monarch; Internet Explorer, Lotus Notes, Outlook and EY Tools.- Solid Languages Skills (English and Spanish);- Leadership and Work Organisation;- Flexibility in facing new challenges and realities.
