Principal Innovation Programme Manager
CurrentHarnessing economic growth to reduce poverty, ensuring that growth is inclusive of marginalised and excluded communities. Using a multi-disciplinary innovative approach, I focus on coordinating and delivering research and projects in innovation, entrepreneurship and SME development. Donors include DFID, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and private clients.My role includes:• designing innovative support for SMEs through innovation hubs and mentoring;• designing humanitarian innovation hubs to work with locally led solutions in the emergency response context; co-writing the World Bank GFDRR's Guide to Local Disaster Recovery Framework• completing research including on innovation south-south transfer and the environmental effects of farming practices;• project management of projects including a Business Enabling Environment programme in Ghana, monitoring and environment programme in conflict affected countries including Mali, Nigeria and Niger and the research component of a transport programme in Africa and South Asia focusing on improving access for people with disabilities;• due diligence / grant / fund management;• coordinating the implementation of IMC Worldwide’s CRM system - Dynamics;• business development – seeking new funding opportunities and bid management of proposals to donors including the World Bank, USAID, DFID, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and national governments.**IMC Worldwide Ltd has now been purchased by DT Global**
