A teacher for 30 years in the Verona Area School District, I have enjoyed working with the staff, students, parents and community members helping to integrate technology into the classrooms. Since 1995, I have been the Educational Technology Coach for Verona Area High School and am a National Board Certified teacher with an MBA degree. I am also a District Personalized Learning Coach.An Apple Distinguished Educator since 2007, I have been developing curriculum and showcasing student work in a variety of ways. Having taught several grad classes on the iLife and iWork Suite, and trained teachers on various topics, including iBooks Author, my goal is to make technology integration a natural and fun part of learning. I was also a part of the Apple Distinguished Educator team at the Apple Institute in Ireland which created a course in iTunes U called "My Global Voice: Publishing with iBooks Author".I am also an active Discovery STAR Educator, serve as the Events Chair for the Wisconsin DEN Leadership Council, and in 2009 was one of three teachers selected to participate in the Discovery Student Pilot Adventure in China for 15 days. Recently I was selected as one of the 5, Discovery Educator Network (DEN) Gurus, which recognizes “distinguished educators who are thought leaders in the education community.”

I was the captain and tour guide for four summers at Clear Water Harbor in Waupaca, Wisconsin. I drove an authentic sternwheel paddle boat.
