Business Support Specialist
Business Support Specialist – Hybrid position of Business Support and Customer Service• Work with Accounting to set-up new accounts.• Set-Up and maintain new and existing ship to locations for Customer Service and Sales.• Assist Sales by running reports, making adjustments to customer locations, looking up resources, manually mailing price letters upon request.• Add, remove and maintain resources for individual locations.• Manually update pricing in system and open orders.• Take ownership of all phases of order fulfillment process, which include: order entry, order maintenance, and order tracking.• Responsible for order fulfillment of assigned specialty accounts.• Notify Customers, Sales and Operations of any order delays or issues and work to rectify.• Complete special projects as assigned by Business Support or Customer Service Managers.• Distribute SDS (safety data sheets) upon request.• Send backorder reports to Management team and applicable Customer Service Reps.• Maintain backorder log on Sharepoint.• Look-up bill of ladings (BOLs) in Intellichief and email to specific customers.• Follow-up with individual plants for missing BOLs.• Open, scan, email and distribute incoming mail.• Send customer checks to the lockbox for processing.• Maintain SOPP manuals• Forward “Outreach” information to Sales.• Update customer “Emergency Contact” information
