The main goal of my study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a non-fishing area in the southeast of Portugal.• Design and carry out experimental research, identify methods for data collection and analysis• Data collection by sampling marine organisms (limpets, sea snails and seaweed) on rocky shore ecosystems and by interviewing fishermen and local community• Treatment and analysis of data, using statistical software (Gmav5, PRIMER and SPSS) and Microsoft Office.• Produce a final report and presentation
