Expert in Adobe Audition editing program. • Trained, coached, and mentored members of emergency public affairs teams for live appearances over-the-air and in emerging web/virtual services, including those of the American Red Cross to be eyewitnesses to events in addition to using approved message points. • Landed a global contract with Carol Miller Communications & Five Heads Strategic Communications focusing on international development, health, emergency response targeting humanitarian causes, organizations in 25 countries.• Grew business diversity working with American National Red (Red Cross) specializing in disaster radio outreach initially during Hurricane Katrina at National Headquarters responding to influx of media requests. • Executed Jacobson Strategic Communications Public Relations contract by researching, developing story ideas, identifying sources, writing scripts, producing reports, uncovering music, natural sound productions of up to 20 minutes.• Grew RRMS business through Flatlands Avenue Productions LLC partnership producing and voicing original programs for strategic clients such as Air Canada and Patriot-Made Audiocast.• Contributed to Valerie Geller’s book, detailing methods and processes to proactively prepare stations for emergency broadcasts and respond to community needs. Created booking template and format sheet for other producers and hosts to use: show prep; strategy for growing show's desired audience; expert audio editor using Adobe Audition and other Adobe Creative Suite programs; Excel Spread Sheet used to track hours, writing (Microsoft 365); I was brought back to Westwood One by a colleague who worked with me in the 1990s to 2000 to help with the transition of the legendary Jim Bohannon Show, as Jim was dying from cancer. I was recognized for my ability to lead my colleagues and potentially coach on-air talent. I was also brought back because of my numerous contacts in media and in public relations in the DC/Baltimore area, as well as my skills in media relations, working the other side of the pitch as a public relations consultant and entrepreneur.

• Worked as news anchor for Morning Drive program, morning disc jockey sidekick organizing and assigning staffing duties part-time announcers and board operations. Coached, mentored Maryland University College Park interns in 2021.• Covered city, county and state news from breaking news and long-running stories such as the Capital Gazette Shooters trial, State Assembly, Senate politics-legislation, city environmental and climate change needs. • Produced dozens long-form public affairs, interview programs filling in as tech support and radio operator as needed.

This is the free radio reading service for the blind and for those who cannot effectively read print, serving Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.I made sure that volunteers made it on the air on time, and read well. I also edited audio files to Washington Ear production standards, wrote public service announcements, coached volunteers, and mix the sound for live and pre-recorded programs. I was voice talent on announcements and public service announcements.
