I am passionate about climate change policy and sustainability, with a strong background in both research and applied work. My work focuses on developing and evaluating carbon pricing mechanisms, designing low-carbon development strategies and policies at both national and local levels, and assessing sectoral climate adaptation and socioeconomic vulnerabilities.As Vice President of EEG, I am currently leading initiatives in the pedagogical and sustainability areas, contributing to the advancement of sustainable practices within higher education. I also serve as an expert evaluator for the European Commission.Previously, I have contributed to various institutions, including the World Bank, Environmental Ministries, Portuguese municipalities, the University of Porto, the University of Aveiro, INESC TEC, and several consulting firms. I have also participated in international climate policy negotiations at the UNFCCC and supported environmental management efforts in protected areas.
