• Royal Engineer Search Team course completed and put into the position of second-in-command of a six person team to search for and detect the presence of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED’s) in a variety of hostile, high-threat environments.• Member of Conventional Munitions Disposal Team performing duties for rapid response to Unexploded Ordnance being found within the U.K mainland.• Delivery of conversion to upgraded systems to end point users upon completion of Horn MK3 Instructor course.• Managed the security, maintenance & serviceability of over 300 weapon systems and also a fleet of secure digital communication platforms, achieving 100% upon external audit of paperwork and inspection of items.• Performed audits to defined schedules and standards, captured results, evaluated data, reported findings and recommended implementation of improvements where necessary.• Introduced and lead regular ‘tool box talks’ incorporating awareness of hazards associated with equipment and practises which improved subordinates knowledge and perception of risk.• Restructured department and streamlined working practises in order to meet management deadlines, which resulted in a saving of significant amount of man-hours, and contributed in making the department more effective.

• Elementary Explosive Ordnance Disposal course completed and utilised working alongside both Royal Engineer and Royal Air Force Conventional Munitions Disposal (CMD) teams whilst deployed to Iraq (OP TELIC 3, 6 & 10) to search for and dispose of ordnance found over periods of 6 months.• Delivery of UXO awareness briefing to incoming personnel to operational theatre as a part of the Reception, Staging, Onward – Moving & Integration (RSOI) Team in Iraq.• Explosive Ordnance Clearance (EOC) exercises conducted in United Kingdom and Canada working to clear areas posing risk to life post Battle Group exercise deployment.• Conducted Search operations as a part of an explosives forensic team providing assurance of safety to government party conference venues.• Advanced Communications Systems Engineer course completed enabling me to command a team of four skilled operators in the establishment and running of an Operations Post both in peacetime and on deployments abroad.
