My clinical interests include helping young adults, adults, parents, and couples manage the important emotions and relationships in their lives. I have much experience helping patients work through transitions in life, such as adjusting to college, overcoming career challenges, alleviating interpersonal struggles in relationships and marriages, and handling the joys and challenges of parenting. I have worked with patients from a wide range of backgrounds, and enjoy getting to know my patients individually, regardless of our cultural differences and similarities.My clinical style is rooted relational psychology and focuses on the exploration of early life events. This approach to therapy allows me to feel closely connected with my patients by promoting a strong therapeutic relationship based on honesty and openness. I include aspects of CBT and mindfulness when useful, especially to address acute symptoms quickly.
