As a Professional Engineer with a passion for sustainable transportation, I bring over a decade of experience in the energy sector to my role at BC Hydro. I specialize in deploying high power DC electric vehicle charging stations, driving the transition towards a greener, more efficient future for BC. Prior to BC Hydro, I spent 17 years in the high tech sector, focused on developing new communications technologies. My career is built on a foundation of innovative problem-solving, strategic planning, and collaboration. I lead projects that deliver reliable and accessible EV charging infrastructure, ensuring that BC meets the growing demands of electric vehicle adoption. My work not only supports environmental sustainability but also enhances the convenience and feasibility of EV usage across British Columbia. Under my guidance, over 200 DCFC ports have been brought online in BC.In many ways, the excitement and growth expectations of EVs reminds me of my early years at Glenayre Communications and PMC-Sierra Semiconductors, where we were developing new telecom technologies to support wireless and networking communications.
