I am a Chartered Accountant by profession. In my current role, I collaborate with various business functions of the organization (such as commercial, procurement, projects, finance and HR) from a finance/ commercial standpoint.My role essentially involves: (a) advise/ provide solutions to problems faced by various business functions of the organization; (b) mitigate risk for the organization by negotiating terms and conditions of client/ vendor contracts; (c) suggest process efficiencies; (d) implement cost reduction measures; (e) manage cash flow; (f) assist in government audits; (g) advice on employee policies; etc.Prior to this I worked with multiple consultancy firms and used to advice Indian business houses as well as MNCs on tax and regulatory issues in various industries spanning Technology, Real Estate, Retail, Manufacturing etc.
