As Shift Team Leader I'm required to:• To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of shift staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the power plant.• Oversee plant operations and effectively supervise team members during shift.• Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks and following up with all shift team members to ensure maximum productivity.• Must be proficient in each area of the shift work to assist when necessary.• Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment and report on any issues that are likely occur.• Identify process deviations and perform root cause/corrective action.• Monitor efficiency in total plant operations to achieve economical fuel usage, generation of quality steam and maximization of power generation in line with our operations plan.• Verify cause of the problem and call in necessary personnel during power outages and emergencies.• Responsible for training & development and monitoring of new personnel on shift to ensure personnel are competent to undertake their duties.• Maintain a positive work environment for employees and guests.• Act with integrity and honesty while fulfilling the Nabou Green Energy Limited’s Vision and Mission.• Supervise, manage and mentor subordinate to encourage them to be competent and innovative.• Manage time effectively and meet all shifts KPI.• Document and compile operational data, complete and maintain forms, logs and reports.• Identify back-ups and work with managers to re-organize human resources.• Follow shift inventory control procedures to reduce product loss.• Report all problems faced on shift to Operation Manager as soon as possible.• Ensure plant adheres to safety and environment rules.• Ensure all items are prepared according to the NGEL’s standards of quality, consistency and timelines.• Ensure Health and Safety regulations and procedures are followed by team members at all times.

As a Operations Planner I'm required to:  Develop operations plan to achieve company goals. Optimize operations plan to meet changing business needs. Identify, anticipate and resolve customer issues in timely manner. Identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives. Liaise with other teams in analyzing and resolving operational problems. Perform regular operations reviews to identify any issues/inconsistencies. Develop budget and schedule for implementing business operations. Perform resource allocation and work assignment for implementing business operations. Determine operational risk factors and provide relevant mitigation plans. Implement changes in workflow and work scope to meet business expectations. Create and sustain a load and capacity plan that identifies potential capacity issues such as holidays and resource, reviewing and maintaining exception. Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations Schedule shift according to production needs Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption Prepare and submit status and performance reports

As a board operator i was looking after the boiler and turbine operation of Nabou Green Energy Power Plant where we have a 12MW turbine and 33bar boiler rate at 57 t/h Supervision of all personnel directly involved. Is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the boilers and turbine Look after Boiler water treatment  Produce continuous steaming and supply it to the Turbines. Resolve industrial matters on shift to avoid major industrial problems Work in accordance to standard operating procedures, manufacturer’s recommendations, legislative requirements, codes of practice and industrial awards and agreements.
