Nirma Petrochemical Complex is using latest ECO Friendly Technology from M/S UOP, U.S.A. Linear Alkyl Benzene Plant has the capacity of 1, 20,000 MTPAcommissioned in December-1997. There is also a Normal Paraffin Plant as a front end of the Linear Alkyl Benzene Plant of capacity 65,000 MTPA commissioned in January,2000.Pacol: It is a fixed bed catalytic dehydrogenation process, convert high purity N- Paraffin (C10 to C13) to Mono-Olefin at high temperature (450-500˚C) & low hydrogen partial pressure (1.3-1.4ksc).Define: It is a fixed bed catalytic hydrogenation process, convert Diolefin to Mono- Olefin i.e. generated in pacol unit. Process condition: 18-30 KSC &195-220°C.Pep: Pacol enhancement process is a fixed bed adsorption unit for the selective removal of aromatics components to a level less than 1% from pacol productstream.Detal: It is a fixed bed catalytic process to alkylate benzene with linear olefin to form linear alkyl benzene. Process condition: 10-12 KSC &150-170°C.
