The dozer had been lying defunct for over a year due to difficulty in troubleshooting.- As the head of dumpers, implemented a new schedule for the daily maintenance activities of dumpers, based on analysis of historical data of trips per machine, to exploit the idle time of the equipment in production to ensure minimum downtime of equipment which in turn improved the production in the maintenance shift by 15% which amounts to 10trips of coal or Rs.2.8L per shift. - Utilized a data-driven approach to analyze the failure frequency of dumpers and correlated the same with the data obtained from the payload monitoring system installed on the dumpers which helped identify operational inefficiencies which were leading to breakdown of equipment.
