As a subject matter expert, was responsible for reviewing and approving all customizations and any implementation of new functions to the platform.

- Underwrote and adjudicated over 100 transactions in excess of CAD 3 billion in commercial real estate debt funded while working in the Credit Risk Management department. - Worked primarily on large portfolio transactions with loan amounts in excess of $50MM per transactions. - Adjudicated and presented deals to credit committee and solved risk related problems when they arose through the credit and funding processes. - Coached junior analysts on underwriting and loan processing. Mentored new employees and analysts on conflict resolution with the loan origination team and borrowers. - Helped build consensus between the origination team and credit committee on risks associated with any given loan transactions, paving the way for a smooth loan approval and funding process.

- Collaborated with the Director of Credit Servicing in managing the existing book of maturing loans in excess of CAD 1 billion and retaining said maturing loans via extension, renewal or refinance - Conducted interest rate risk management and priced loans that were retained or refinanced - Implemented new processes and increased efficiency of existing loan extension and renewal methods- As an “Atlas Champion” was part of a select group that tested and provided feedback on the prototype of a proprietary loan underwriting and processing platform

- Led sales and marketing departments, set the direction for the teams and coached them on execution. - Expanded sales territory beyond British Columbia to cover all provinces across Canada.- Representing the firm at Canada’s top food and beverage trade shows and export trade shows.- Developed Supplier Agreements, Buyers Agreements and Privacy Policies in collaboration with the legal team at McCarthy Tetrault LLP; further collaborated with them on preparing the Intellectual Property (IP) contract for the firm's web portal.- In Q4 2017 the firm was preparing to IPO upon completion of a Qualifying Transaction (QT) with a TSX-V listed Capital Pool Company (CPC). Worked with the solicitors and invest bankers in a crucial capacity to complete the QT. - Formulated and wrote the business plan for the securities agencies review as part of the IPO process.- Planned the use of proceeds for post the QT.
