Working at Just Transition Research Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur) on “Justice in India's Energy Transition”. This work is trying to involve all its stakeholders from the local context to gain a deeper perspective on the energy transition process in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. Because, it is the high time when India has to keep a pace between the energy transition and mitigating climate change effect. Energy transition by phasing down the fossil fuel based system to renewable ones remain as the critical factor in the climate change discourse. However, we have to take the decisive walkthrough and transformation ensuring the justice for the workers and community who depend on fossil-fuel for their livelihood.

Worked on the estimation of ecological services in terms of climate, energy and knowledge management: the social- ecology of Conservation Agriculture. Worked in two contrasting agro-climatic zone of West Bengal, Alluvial and Terai. It was a survey based work having four dependent and 53 of different independent variables. Gender, nutrition, agro -ecological, socio-economic factors played key roles in shaping farmers' differential perceptions related to Conservation Agriculture practices..

Worked as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under Centre for Advanced Agricultural Science and Technology on Conservation Agriculture funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) and World Bank at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal.

Visiting Scholar under guidance of Prof. Rafiq Islam, Program Director, Soil, Water and Bioenergy Resources. Surveyed extensively on Social-ecology of Conservation Agriculture at 40 counties of Ohio State, conducted Focus Group Discussions with local farmers, recorded case study of succesful Conservation Agriculture farmers, attended number of conferences and seminars while presented as a speaker at OEFFA conference, Dayton, Ohio.
