As a Program Coordinator, I am responsible for steering the department’s goals, managing team dynamics, and ensuring smooth daily operations. My role includes: • Departmental Leadership & Administration: I oversee the department’s official paperwork and documentation, ensuring that all processes align with university policies and quality standards. I handle coordination with upper management, department reports, and ensure adherence to academic timelines. • Team Management: Leading a team of five faculty members, I provide guidance, assign responsibilities, and foster a supportive, collaborative environment. I conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and provide resources to help team members grow and excel. • Strategic Planning & Curriculum Development: I play an active role in developing and updating the curriculum to keep our programs industry-relevant. Working closely with stakeholders, I ensure that the curriculum reflects the latest trends, tools, and techniques in UX and design thinking. • Student Engagement & Support: I oversee student progress, respond to their academic concerns, and ensure that our programs meet their educational and career aspirations.
