Working on Climate change finance issues in the Ministry of Finance. Also, involved in the upcoming Indian presidency of the G20.

Work description – o Analysis of data on International Trade between India and LAC region at the country as well as the commodity level for the countries of LAC.o Worked extensively on the Goods section of the ongoing India – Peru Trade Negotiations, which includes studying and compiling comments from stakeholders for preparation of Indian wish list to Peru and study of Peru’s wish list to India. o Providing quantitative inputs for issues related to trade between India and LAC such as- used SMART simulations to study a proposal for Trade agreement between India and Pacific Alliance, worked out India’s export potential to LAC region in various sectors, regularly updating the Trade data for the use of the division and providing facts and figures for the various country or commodity related queries by the officials of the division. o Preparation of reports for internal use of the division and department, like a Compendium on India- LAC Trade, division’s strategy for boosting India’s exports to LAC, preparing division’s Status Note based on trade in the past 10 years, preparing presentations for Stakeholder consultations for India-Peru Trade agreement and other meetings organized by the division.

My responsibilities included : preparing a review on e-commerce sector in India and summarizing a few reports by Asian Development Bank.
