As a Public Health Intern, I have the privilege of working with decorated, talented, and hard-working professionals in this capacity. My project experience has surrounded a Minister's Health and Wellness Challenge with nine pastors in the local Central Texas Area. This 14-week challenge, being done for the first time in this area of Texas, consists of wellness tips, educational sessions, and community building to aid these prominent faith leaders in cultivating sustainable and healthy habits in their own lives. This challenge is being completed in partnership with Dallas's BSWH team, and they have seen numerous cases of participants who discovered chronic diseases that were going unnoticed. Within this work, I communicate with innumerable professionals within Faith Community Health, Baylor Scott and White Health, and the larger community of Central Texas. Additionally, I am taking part in reviewing and repurposing the Volunteer Care Cards Manual. These responsibilities include updating sources to newer ones, minimizing language bias, and ensuring accessibility when viewed in various formats.

As a Community Assistant at Aspen Heights, under Greystar, in Waco, Texas, I was the primary point of contact for new potential residents. I completed 25 tours each month, communicated with applying residents and outreach for new ones, and assisted the leasing staff with completing lease signatures.
