Dr. Kapur is a systems neuroscientist with over 15 years of experience in neurodegenerative disease, medical device development, neuromodulation, and signal processing. She has built teams and developed products that leverage traditional and machine learning methods to extract clinically relevant information from high density sensor data. Shortly after completing her PhD in Neuroscience at the University of California, San Francisco, she became part of the team that successfully completed a PMA for the world’s first brain-responsive neurostimulator for the treatment of epilepsy. Subsequently, at Verily she founded and led the Digital Biomarkers organization, a team of over 100 scientists, engineers, and operations professionals. She has been a Visiting Full Professor by Special Appointment at the Radboud University Medical Center Department of Neurology, and recently joined a family office as the Chief Scientific Officer of Bridge Analytics, which is focused on driving scientific and technological advances in diseases of the central nervous system.
