Hi there! I am a junior at the California Institute of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics. Broadly, I am interested in interacting particle systems and mean-field theory, particularly in their applications to the domains of optimization and graphical methods. I am currently working under Prof. Franca Hoffmann to prove a novel convergence guarantee of the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method. Outside of research, I am heavily involved in teaching and other leadership opportunities on campus. I believe proper teaching is the best vehicle to inspire the next generation, and to that end, I am always interested in becoming a better teacher myself! Actively teaching as a teaching assistant and regular tutor has given me invaluable experience.
