Current-- Worked on a comprehensive data archival project amidst an acquisition scenario involving an industry leader in the chemical sector. The project required proficient use of JiVS to effectively transfer a vast amount of data securely and without loss from one corporate database to another. Post-migration, Out-of-Box standard reports, tailored to the specific requirements of the client were developed, customized, enabled and delivered.-- As a developer on a highly successful data archival project for a major player in the oil and gas industry, I have been instrumental in archiving data from acquired companies' applications. The project, which has been running for five years, involves a team of 10 developers and has archived data from over 500 applications, making it one of the highest revenue-generating projects for my company. My role involved transferring application data to an archival database using JiVS and SQL, and developing comprehensive reports primarily with JiVS View Designer. In cases of special requests, I utilized Pentaho Report Designer to meet specific client needs.--I navigated the complexities of systems like SAP ERP, SAP BW, MS Dynamics AX, and Oracle Procure to Pay to accurately identify and map data for reporting purposes. This often required spending a significant amount of time with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure precise data mapping, especially when dealing with complex applications. Additionally, I implemented robust error handling mechanisms to manage the transfer of large databases with minimal errors. Through multiple iterations and user acceptance testing, I ensured that the reports met client requirements before moving to production.
