Currently heading business development, valuation advisory, and investment banking research, Ritwik headed institutional research in the past. As part of the core management team, he cofounded new business verticals at the firm. A Category I Merchant Banker and financial services company, Khambatta Securities provides merchant banking, corporate finance/valuation advisory, institutional broking, equity research, retail broking, and financial products' distribution.

Advised multilateral DFIs on the social enterprises ecosystem in Sri Lanka (a World Bank Group project), and digital financial services (DFS) in Africa (a UNCDF project).

Ritwik founded Impaxsus, a development consulting firm operating in the non-profit, CSR and sustainable business spaces. He has conducted impact assessment of CSR projects of ITC, Indian Oil Corporation and Bandhan Bank as well as government-funded programmes.

Ritwik cofounded Acquist, a direct marketing, marketing consultancy and real estate broking firm. Serviced marquee clients from the real estate, media, telecom and other sectors. Ritwik and his team organised and managed the first-ever Philip Kotler Marketing Forum in Bangalore (the flagship event of the marketing guru Dr. Philip Kotler).
