Stock Accountability-Accurate and timeous inventory management of additives and base oils.-Ensure additives are consumed in accordance to first in first out principles.•Blending of Oil Products & Product Management-Control of all blended oil product transactions on SAP and Blending Systems-Schedule all blending requirements as guided by the Production Scheduler in the most efficient and safe manner to meet customer demands.-Handle blending of products as per blend formulations and in accordance with safe work instructions to ensure “first time correct” finished product blend target.-Manage sampling of blended products and submission for QA testing.-Submit accurate reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.•Team Management-Ensure all Blending staff have clear roles and responsibilities with targets and goals aligned with business requirements.-Ensure Team meets all Safety and Compliance requirements with respect to company policies as well as legislative requirements (OHS Act).-Pursue required disciplinary action when required•Safe Work Practice-Perform all required SWP training (Work at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, Gas Testing, Lock Out Tag Out, Electrical Isolation, Lifting and Rigging) to permit any Non-Routine tasks in the work area.•Management of Change (MOC)-Ensure MOC process is followed for all required plant changes to mitigate and reduce any potential risk. -Lead as MOC Owner when required.•Root Cause Analysis-Apply "5-Why" and "fishbone" methodology to perform incident analysis•Lean 6 Sigma-Completed “white belt” with “green belt” training in progress.-Apply efficiency principles to improve plant processes•Yokogawa DCS Automation System -Nominated as MOC Owner for implementation of new plant automation and control system•Plant Efficiency-Develop and gather information to implement new ideas and designs (pumping/piping) to improve plant efficiency.
