Fall 2024 Engagement: UNC Global's Carolina Diplomacy Fellows Program

Developing and executing marketing strategies that increase visibility and engagement with the club. This includes managing social media, creating content, designing slide decks, and promoting events and initiatives.

Selected as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for BUSI 100: Introduction to Business, supporting over 750 pre-business students per semester by providing office hours, assisting with assignments, and facilitating in-class activities. Collaborate with Professor Hendricks and a team of TAs to enhance the curriculum, grade coursework, and foster an engaging learning environment.

Developed and executed creative marketing strategies, including social media campaigns, interactive activities, and fundraising events, to enhance Sigma Eta Pi's campus presence and drive recruitment. Managed chapter communications through social media, newsletters, and website design (in collaboration with the VP of Technology).

Organized a philanthropy event in collaboration with local entrepreneur Alex Brandwein, managing catering logistics and budgeting through effective use of past funds and ticket sales.

Raised over $2,300 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by marketing and selling Carolina-themed posters through social media campaigns and tailgate sales. Additionally, served on the rush board, leading events such as Lunch With A Brother, speed dating, and info sessions to engage and introduce rushees to the fraternal organization.

Worked closely with the finance committee to plan fundraisers, secure sponsorships, and manage a comprehensive $40,000 budget for the DRD event, including raising a $550 sponsorship and negotiating catering deals to ensure cost-effective logistics. Managed all financial transactions, including reimbursements for dance teams and judges, and oversaw the event's bank and Venmo accounts. Additionally, led the creation of DRD’s first-ever website to centralize event information for competitors, liaisons, sponsors, and the public. Spearheaded the planning of a pit pieing fundraiser, from budgeting to space booking, and developed a Linktree to streamline event communication and provide easy access to key details for participants.

Founded a program to empower students in rural areas by improving English proficiency and preparing them to thrive in a globalized society. Collaborated with school boards and teachers to design a curriculum delivered via Zoom/Skype, teaching groups of 15-20 students and increasing their language proficiency by over 200% over five years. Expanded the program by mentoring tutors and helping them establish classes in over two schools in India and one in Uganda. Currently developing a website to showcase the foundation's impact and work.

Researched Gen Z banking trends and provided strategic recommendations to Embassy Bank to effectively engage this demographic, presenting findings to the bank’s President and Board of Directors. Conducted in-depth client research to create targeted social media content and developed a posting schedule for both in-house and potential leads, including sample content to drive engagement.
