Lead a team of 7 students in Offshore Wind Site Planning/Project Development at Wolverine Offshore Wind, a student organization with The University of Michigan.Manage cost-of-energy and cash flow analysis for a projected floating offshore wind farm site development and operation over a 30 year lifetime, including:• Initial capital cost associated with development, wind turbine procurement/installation, and balance of station.• Annual operating expenses including operations and maintenance costs, lease costs, asset management, operational insurance, and scheduling. • Annual energy production • Market conditions surrounding cost of production and demand. • Financing planning for construction; tax equity; sponsor equity; long term debt; financing fees; debt and equity • National incentives, tax credits, and any regional incentives.Analysis of projected lease area with calculated consideration of wind resource, geotechnical data, bathymetry, environmental and ecological impacts, grid connection and transmission accessibility, port and vessel infrastructure.

Primary responsibility is to create and maintain safety protocols for the promotion of emergency preparedness, accident prevention, FAA and IOGP compliance, and overall company health. Reporting is performed both orally and via Safety Management Systems within Fleetplan software. Safety promotion in this position is done through the following:Collaboration with management team for implementation of safety protocol budget, safety training, and effectiveness of existing safety protocols and procedures.Identification of environmental health and safety improvement opportunities through overseeing HeliService USA flight operations, ground operations, dispatch, and maintenance.Work closely with flight safety specialist to integrate pilot, ground operator, and dispatch safety standards through frequent safety briefings, procedure amendment meetings, and training management meetings that stress aviation specific standards.Performed routine safety audits of job sight to identify potential hazards and maintain environmental health.Adhere to FAA, EASA, and IOGP safety regulation through Safety Management System administration, operation, and companywide integration for the promotion of highly esteemed safety culture and positive relationships with hazard reporting.Risk assessment and analysis of workplace accidents, incidents, occupational illnesses, and long-term health hazards through Event Risk Classification, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, and Preventative Action.Perform audits of major changes in the company with Management of Change documentation and proliferation of safety culture and hazard mitigation all-throughout the project timeline.Create monthly safety newsletters for company and customer distribution, stressing the Root Cause Analysis of both global and internal safety disruption events along with providing analysis of SKPI and HFDM data in an understandable and beneficial presentation format.
