As part of the Construction Documents Specialist team at Direct Supply Aptura, I work directly with Interior Designer, Architects and other Architectural Designers to generate Construction Documents for the design or renovation of spaces for Senior Living Facilities throughout the US and Canada. Our award wining team is always innovating and making cutting edge design that will improve the lives of seniors across the nation.

Overlooked the planning, coordination & logistics for multiple events offered to UWM Latino students. Actively involved as a member of the Planning Committee for the RHC’s Annual Scholarship Fundraiser. Provided marketing solutions & customization of the department’s website to promoted programs and services. Managed finances, receivables and expendables of various programs and events throughout the year. Continuous participation in planning and execution of tasks in order to complete our mission. Collaborated with other staff and service providers to achieve the department’s goals and fulfill office duties. Coordinated meetings and scheduled staff appointments on a daily basis or as needed. Streamlined processes to insure quality, achieve consistency, improve efficiency & accuracy of operations. Engaged with current and prospective students who were looking for academic support and guidance. Organized database and computer storage while creating tracking tools to better provide program support.

I worked with the creation of marketing materials to promote various programs within 15 different partnering organizations as well as providing assistance on the development of an adult mentoring program. I also generated a number of tracking tools to improve the functionality and record keeping of the services provided. I also facilitated document translation into Spanish, broadening the scope and program impact.

I was involved in the design and construction of architectural signage. I offered a high quality product with over a decade of experience in the signage industry. I had the opportunity to apply my graphic design skills and material sensibility to the final product creating one-of-a-kind artistic signage.

As an architectural intern I was responsible for the completion of computer aided drafting, which included as-builts and demolition drawings for renovation and upgrades for government facilities and other public buildings. I was also involved with the design development of commercial buildings. I also worked with computed 3D modeling in various softwares including Revit Architecture, SketchUp, Photoshop and AutoCad.

I started as a model maker, providing a physical representations of the architectural design to clients and developers. Soon after, I became part of the designing team and worked hand to hand with the architects and clients for the design development of various projects of residential and commercial type. I was also responsible for the drafting of construction documents which included plans, elevations, sections, electrical and door/window schedules.
