• Design, implement and refine the Promoting Reproductive Rights and the Right to Sexual Health U.S. and Global Initiative with field partners to: a) build broad and diverse base of support for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR); b) obtain and secure legal and policy gains that can improve the SRHR of the most marginalized groups (including inclusion of reproductive health within U.S. health reform expansion); and c) change the public narrative and social norms to be more supportive of SRHR issues. • Manage an annual U.S. and global grants portfolio and work collaboratively with grantees and donor colleagues to leverage additional funding and joint efforts. • Led design and implementation of innovative learning and evaluation framework and supported related activities, including strategy-setting and learning convenings with grantees and colleagues and development of new tools for monitoring progress. • Play a leadership role on U.S. and global teams, shaping team collaboration and effectiveness and serving as mentor and coach to peer Program Officers, Program Associates, Program Assistants, and Summer Interns. • Represent the Foundation and its work to UN agencies, U.S. government, media, academic, business, philanthropic, and civic leaders through meetings, updates, speeches, briefings and interviews.• Support Director in management and team leadership role(s) and in making and communicating timely decisions to guide strategy and grant-making. This includes managing budgets and select personnel (consultants, Program Analysts and interns) and design of Foundation-wide gender justice strategies. • Developed strong working relationships with Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights, World Health Organization, and other UN agencies.

• Performed federal, state and local legal and policy advocacy in reproductive health, Medicaid, managed care, children’s and adolescents’ health, language access and race discrimination. • Provided legal research, policy analysis, technical assistance, training, and co-counseling to legal assistance attorneys and other advocates representing low-income people.• Represented NHeLP and worked collaboratively in national, state, and local coalitions. • Published articles, developed fact sheets and issue briefs, and contributed to quarterly newsletter for health consumers, advocates and policy makers.

• Co-directed Women in Prison Project at Lorton Minimum Security Annex, Lorton, Virginia. • Provided policy analysis and advocacy on behalf of low-income women, focusing on incarceration, domestic violence, drug and alcohol dependency, employment discrimination, health, and reproductive rights.
