My position as Director of Marketing and Communications has morphed into a District Director & Internal Communications Director in order to best utilize my leadership skills to help our organization. I work directly under the CEO for communication of our strategic plan and our council marketing and communication projects. For internal and external recruitment and event management, I work with our Field Director and Director of Field Service. My main responsibility is to work with thousands of volunteers and use group meetings, print, digital, and web portals for the growth of our youth-serving. I am the go-to professional for our volunteer constituents for marketing/promotion, lead generation, and membership growth planning for over 20 counties in the Central Texas – North Texas region.

District Executive in charge of district operations for two districts within Yucca Council My role is to guide volunteers in membership, recruitment, fundraising, special events, and be a professional contact person for over 500 scouting volunteers. Establishing and maintaining quality relationships with other organizations such as schools, non-profits, government agencies is vital. My main focus is raising money, increasing manpower, and increasing membership in scouting programs. As a Council we have achieved national recognition for our double-digit growth in membership. I am also the professional with other important responsibilities such as: Council Training Chairman, Boy Scout Advancement, Boy Scout Klondike, Boy Scout Summer Camp Staff Advisor, National Youth Leadership Training, Popcorn Staff Advisor, and United Way of Alamogordo, NM.
