I was born with a symmetric, sloping mild-to-severe hearing loss. I’ve worn hearing aids since I was 4 years old: Siemens BTEs for 8 years, Resound RICs for 15, and Starkey Genesis AI RICs for 1. Whenever I meet someone else with a hearing loss, or anyone willing to listen, I advocate for the life-changing, cognition-preserving benefits of hearing aids.I love working with people, especially an older population, as I grew up in a church comprised almost entirely of that demographic.
