I enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds to find ways to live a life of resilience, hope, environmental justice and in balance with our earth. I approach my work as a capacity builder to bring out the best in my partners. In many cases I strive to work myself out of a job with those I serve so that they can eventually do work on their own. Specialties: watershed science, environmental education, land conservation planning and implementation, ecological restoration, erosion control, water harvesting, and facilitation of learning experiences for multi-cultural and multi-age groups. I work hard so I can be lazy as a general strategy. In addition a core principal in my practice is building community capacity for science, stewardship, monitoring, and leadership development to address climate change.
