Ramón I. Verdés Kairuz, Ph.D. Email and Phone Number
As a Controls Engineer at EPG CONTROLS Inc, I apply my extensive knowledge and experience in control engineering to design and implement control systems. I hold a PhD in Robust Control and Observation Algorithms Design from CITEDI IPN, where I conducted cutting-edge research on the design of control and observation algorithms for dynamical systems with time-critical applications, such as impulsive systems, spacecraft docking, and target interception.I have over 10 years of experience in control systems design, implementation, and testing, working with various challenging and complex systems, such as automated gantry cranes, impulsive pendulums, and robotic manipulators. I have published numerous papers in prestigious journals and conferences, and filed a patent on a robotic device to study the phenomena associated with the impacts between two elements. I am proficient in Matlab/Simulink, algorithm development, control theory, systems identification, robotics control, and technical support. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of control engineering, and mentoring the next generation of engineers and researchers.

Phd CandidateCitedi Ipn Jan 2019 - Feb 2023Instituto Politécnico NacionalMy research was focused on the design of control and observation algorithms for dynamical systems represented in the well known normal form. It is motivated by time-critical applications, such as impulsive systems having deterministic jumps in their dynamics, spacecraft docking, and target interception, among others, calling for a prescribed settling time upper bound. Related topics are: *Prescribed--time Robust Controller and Observer Design, *Closed--Loop Stability Analysis, *Simulation… Show more My research was focused on the design of control and observation algorithms for dynamical systems represented in the well known normal form.
