• Deepening client relationships, quickly resolving issues, and identifying opportunities tomatch clients with the right products and solutions that will enable their financial success• Providing accurate product information and advice• Discovering and discussing needs-based banking solutions through client conversationsand proactively promoting and cross-selling appropriate banking services• Interviewing and identifying financing applicants by phone for personal loans,mortgages, and secured and unsecured lines of credit• Pre-qualifying clients for loans, lines of credit, and mortgages. This involves pulling thecredit bureau and determining from the beacon score whether the client can proceed toa credit representative to further qualify them for the product. If the client is pre-qualifiedthen the financial services representative either refers the client to the credit department or to the branch for final approval.• Effectively profiling and asking clients questions regarding their short and long term.savings goals to determine the best investment products tailored for the client• Discussing TFSA, RRSP, and GIC options with clients, processing investment servicing.requests, and referring clients to appropriate partners where required• Educating clients about the variety of financial products CIBC offers.• Identifying and resolving client complains using sound judgement and flexibility whenrecommending appropriate options and solutions.• Managing client calls where the client calls in with an account past due or to makepayment arrangements.• Meeting and exceeding client engagement expectations, revenue, and productivity.targets by understanding client needs, adhering to first call resolution of client issues,and fulfilling client expectations while complying with policies, practices, and procedures.
