As a Graduate Research Assistant in the Microvascular Dynamics Lab at the University of Florida, I focus on studying the effects of stromal vascular fraction (SVF) on microvascular network growth. My research integrates advanced biomedical engineering techniques to explore tissue regeneration and vascularization, aiming to improve therapeutic strategies for wound healing and regenerative medicine. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, conducting in vitro and in vivo experiments to analyze cellular and molecular interactions that influence microvascular development. This role allows me to hone my skills in bioprocess engineering, data analysis, and innovative research methodologies in a cutting-edge environment.

At UF/IFAS Analytical Services Laboratories, I specialize in nutrient analysis for soil, plant, and water samples. My core responsibilities include sorting, recording, and labeling samples, forms, and checks. I perform nutrient extractions (Mehlich-3, KCl, water, AB, total phosphorus) and dry ash digestions, preparing reagents and ensuring compliance with safety protocols while managing chemical waste.Additionally, I calibrate and analyze soil pH with a pH robot and handheld probe. My work involves conducting phosphorus fractionation and acid digestions using an autoclave. I also operate the Spectro Arcos II ICP-OES for nutrient analysis, quality control, and data management in LIMS.
