The Agenda- 21 in the country aimed at preparing Jordan for the 21 century by sustaining development gains. This task involved high level coordination and participation amongst stakeholders representing all sectors and institutions. Areas of work and issues tackled included inter alia water and wastewater, energy climate change, agriculture, tourism, health, desertification, women and youth, and relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
