Worked as a trainee in the Delhi State Emporium by DSIIDC in the operations department and worked on the project entitled 'Decline in Sales of Handicrafts in Indian Economy', which accounted for surveys both Internal and External to the organisation. This internship provided me the exposure of the working of the handicrafts sector and the problems they faced with respect to the cut throat competition. The result, decline in their sales and near stagnant grow. I came up with recommendations for change in the strategies to bring an increase in the profit margin.
