Here's more context -Riyana heads sustainability for Re-Nuble, a for-profit social enterprise that uses circularity to transform agriculture waste and biomaterials into products for the agriculture and construction industries. She also leads environmental impact and strategy development for Re-Nuble’s U.S. federal and New York state-level projects, creating climate-smart commodities for farms across the US. Separately, Riyana is the Founder of an experiential-based “ecology x theology” platform, Akar Kita. She began her career in investment banking with CIMB Group, one of Southeast Asia's largest banks. There, she co-led the development of CIMB’s Sustainable Finance Framework, which was rolled out across the company’s regional offices, managed the Group CEO’s regional and international strategic projects, and sat on the Central Bank of Malaysia’s Working Committee, developing Malaysia's first value-based metrics for Islamic financial institutions. She completed an MSc in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, New York. She holds a B.A. in Politics and International Relations from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
