I believe that in order to help people, one has to understand them first. That is why I chose to study both Mechanical Engineering and Anthropology at the University of Maryland, College Park. Pursuing this double degree enabled me to understand projects on numerous levels- technically and socially. After graduating, I moved across the country to California to pursue a Master's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UC Berkeley. Participating in the Energy, Civil Infrastructure, and Environment program taught me how to apply my interdisciplinary background to some of the world's most challenging social and environmental problems.I'm ready to apply my versatile project and internship experience to improve energy infrastructure, transportation, and sustainability efforts. I'm eager to network with other driven, passionate professionals; it'll take all of us together to save the planet!
