    Did initial research on a 2.4 GHz high power amplifier (HPA) with for wireless charging application under Ir. B. R. Alam, M.Sc., Ph.D. The amplifier is designed using balanced architecture. Impedance matching networks are designed to meet the optimum source and load impedance for best power-added efficiency (PAE) performance.Output of the research are simulated results (done using Momentum co-simulation) and PCB design files (DXF, Gerber) which can be readily used for PCB manufacturing.

    Some R&D work done:- Development of an S-band power amplifier chain and its bias sequence hardware: 15 Watts and 50 Watts amplifiers were implemented while 5 Watts and 500 Watts amplifiers were only designed. Bias sequence circuit consisted of Arduino microcontroller, voltage regulators, current sensors (with ADCs), DACs, inverting op-amps, and BJT-MOSFET-based switches.- VHF low-noise amplifier and mixer: Designed and implemented a low-noise amplifier and a mixer evaluation board for a VHF radio datalink.- Created a simple Arduino program and PCB to control a Yaesu G-5500 rotator-driver intended for antenna measurement application.- Other projects: Involved in a number of other RnD projects, doing RF circuit design, antenna measurements, signal generator measurements, etc.
