The projects focus on developing applications for automated evaluation and data collection for teachers. The applications being developed would be browser independent including mobile browsers. The application is mainly aimed at mobile platforms like Apple iOS on iPhone and iPad .The collected data is automatically updated in the database upon submission and this helps in getting graphical responses on the fly rather than manually entering data and interpreting the same for responses as followed earlier.Responsibilities - Gathering requirements from all possible users.- Designing and developing the applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and Spry.- Developing the test plan for testing of applications- Creating test cases based on test plan and user requirements- Creating test data and test environment.- Performing unit, system, integration, UAT, GUI testing on the application- Performing cross browser compatibility testing on the application- Identifying bugs in the applications and raising defects for the same.- Maintaining test results in Microsoft Excel 2007.- Debugging on the applications so as to fix the identified bugs.- Performing retesting and regression testing on the application.- Documenting test results for reference.- Assisting users in using the applications and documenting the feedback.

Responsibilities:- Assisted professors in conducting labs in JavaScript, SQL and Visual Basic.- Assisted students in building web sites with Adobe Dreamweaver using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax.- Assisted students with debugging codes for errors and proposed fixes for the same.- Assisted under-graduate students in using SQL to run queries in Oracle.

CitiFT (Citibank Fund Transfer System) is an automated single funds transfer system for Citibank. It replaces the individual systems now used by Citibank worldwide. CitiFT aims at automating the fund transfer system across various regions namely North America, Europe and Asia. CitiFT N.A. automates and validates all messages like SWIFT, CHIPS and FED which are used as part of Citibank N.A. fund transfers. Two main parts of this system namely Global Pay Plus and Global Pay Web were tested as part of our work. Global Pay Plus (VB based) was used for setting customers, accounts and other administrative details and Global Pay Web (Web based) was used for initiating and affecting these funds transfers.Responsibilities- Analyzed Test Plans, SRS, and SDD to develop test cases and test data.- Created customers and accounts in Global Pay Plus(GPP) for testing- Setting payment transfer rules and conditions in GPP- Performed UAT, regression testing on CitiFT application for Citibank N.A. and Royal Bank of Canada.- Executed tests on Global Pay Web (GPW) using HP Quality Center 9.0- Played payments using SWIFT, CHIPS and FED messages.- Identified and logged defects in HP Quality Center.- Escalated issues to the team lead and manager.- Attended formal and informal review sessions to follow-up on open and fixed defects.

The projects focused on performing Quality Assurance on BenQ mobile software. The mobile software were developed by the development team in Taiwan and tested in the SQA office at Mumbai.Responsibilities:- Created test cases for various mobile functionalities like phonebook, call records, MMS and multimedia.- Created test scripts and test environments for automated testing processes.- Performed Sanity Test and System Test using HP Quality Center on 2G, 2.5G and 3G handsets. - Performed regression testing using Quick Test Pro 9.0. for multimedia and network areas in handsets- Identified and logged defects using HP Quality Center.- Followed-up with the development team in Taiwan regarding bug fixes.
