Over all management of Wood Working Service Center and Institute of Ceramics at the same time. Manufacturing, advisory services to local industry, common facilities for SMEs and technical training for local industry demand are the main functions. 100 plus people working and 150 plus technical trainees pass outs are the outcomes of both institues.

Site manager at 2x660 MW Power plant in Rabigh City of KSA. A green field project leading by RABEC and EPC contractor SEPCO III. Job scope handling is 64000 DI on site piping, Equipment erection, Structure erection, Electrostatic precipitator assebly and erection, Flue gas Duct system.Total Equipment and strucutre erection weight is about 4000 Tons of which the execution time in total is 10 Months including piping and equipment/structure. Estimated manhours are about 870, 000 Mahours.

Business Development• Source and liaise with principals and strategic partners in international tenders with special focus on Oil & Gas Sector development projects.• Evaluation of Bid and manage pre-bid meetings. Review of Technical /Commercial documents.• Plan, execute & coordinate detailed Business Development policies.• Responsible for preparing Business Communications. • Develop legislation for different company procedures, rules and regulations for different departments.• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements to control time, cost and performance.Project Management• Building tool and plant asset for handling plant construction and turnaround project along with team building.• Establishment of the process and knowledge areas of Project management within the company for the project planning and control of the projects.• Planning for establishing a new fabrication facility and plant construction Business in Pakistan. Worked on hiring of technical resources and procurement of plant & equipment to meet the targeted business.• Operation of a “Planning and Management System” that incorporates an integrated approach to cost control, manufacturing plans, planning and scheduling of shop floor and sited project activities and monitoring of progress efficiencies and costs with in budget.• Selection, orientation and deployment of competent manpower for the execution of jobs as per Quality and Delivery commitments made with the Customer.• Perpetually develop and recommend methods and techniques of Manufacturing and plant construction for achieving higher levels of productivity and quality.• Presently working on different projects in Pakistan. There is a team of around 6 Project Managers, 4 BD Engineers where each PM has his own Project Team and subsequently there is a chain of Project Management. Over all there are around 350 management and non-management staff reporting to me.

 Development of a new organization from grass root level. Managing team building, ISO certification, ASME certification of the work shop. Time management plan development and implementation. Machinery and equipment identification and selection for the new shop. System implementation in the shop floor as well as the stores and inventory system.

 Overseeing strategic planning, marketing, business development, vendor development, and hiring of personnel for new workshop. To act as a team leader looking after the strategic management on company basis. To monitor and control the jobs in execution as far as the planned and earned man-hours are concern. Lead a team of 12 people of management cadre along with setting the direction of company business. Work shop management in the setting up and operations including the certifications.

 Leading the development of a new fabrication workshop capable of manufacturing high pressure boilers, HRSGs, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other heavy process equipment. Supervising certification of new workshop by Federal Board of Boilers (FBB) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for U, R, A, S and PP stamps. Spearheading execution of current projects in hand as project manager.

 Orchestrated many projects worth $ 1 million to $ 5 Million simultaneously. Increased profit margins up to 13% through implementing effective cost controls. Assisted in managing and overseeing manufacturing of the largest water tube boiler of 200 tons per hour capacity ever manufactured in Pakistan. Supervised and led as project cum construction manager complete erection & commissioning of two 80 tons per hour boilers requiring 768,000 man hours in 8 months with zero Loss Time Injury (LTI). Developed and executed best project management practices to ensure execution of projects within time and cost constraints. Demonstrated exceptional performance in project management of all equipment types – Boilers, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Chillers, and Structures. Developed packaging techniques to ensure safe transportation of heavy equipment to site. Held training workshops for engineers and skilled labour. Nominated for Project Management Professional (PMP) training.

 Prepared specifications sheets and Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) for erection and commissioning of 200 TPD caustic soda plant. Reviewed piping plans, isometrics and construction diagrams and prepared Bill of Quantities (BOQs). Prepared Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs). Participated in incident investigations and problem solving. Assisted project team in monitoring project activities and generated progress reports.  Coordinated with procurement in sourcing of materials and price negotiations with vendors. Achieved optimized performance and efficiency of up to 93% of the largest caustic soda plant in Pakistan as shift engineer by ensuring parameters in line with production strategy in terms of electrical load and product concentration. Maintained highest product quality of caustic soda up to 33% concentration by controlling process parameters. Managed and supervised plant start ups and shut downs at Chlor-Alkali Plant. Monitored plant performance against targets and identified existing and potential technical problems. Provided day to day technical guidance to plant operators with respect to optimum and safe plant operations. Coordinated closely with maintenance department to ensure zero plant break downs.
