My role consists both Business partnership and stewardship:P&P and system implementation:As the organization was newly established, I started with preparing and implementing P2P and new systems for various functions. Major Policies and Process Flows prepared and implemented are S2C, P2P, FA and processes of various reporting requirements. Systems implemented are Focus, Braintree, Anaplan and VAC-We Care.Budget & Monitoring: Evaluating various services for the dialysis centers; negotiating and deciding the cost. Assuring completion of each Dialysis center project timely and cost effectively; by effective communication and reporting Capital Budgeting, reforecasting and remodeling operations periodically Preparing center level P&L and monitoring budget in detail Holding monthly P&L review meetings with Operations team for explaining the results and understanding reasons of variances from the operations team. Balance sheet review (BSR) with function owners on quarterly basisAccounting and Taxation Function: Ensuring timely and effectively month end closings Ensuring IFRS compliance Monitoring and insuring VAT returns submission timely Managing and training the team Managing DaVita EMEA Control FrameworkOperations Management:Vascular Access is a major function of dialysis business. It had got serious issues with respect to accounting, costing and contracting. I got this special assignment of fixing these issues. In 2018 cost was reduced by 50% and cleared all outstanding invoices and reconciliation issues with the partner hospitals. Above all expanded the partner hospitals network for better regional coverage and an improved patient experience.

Baxter Company Limited is a Joint Venture between Olayan Group and Baxter Healthcare. Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting were my major roles. All activities used to be done in accordance with both partners’ policies and procedures and reported periodically. My role included but not limited to: Preparation and monitoring annual CAPEX budgets & forecasts Monthly Financial Reports preparation and presentation Monthly balance sheet review with all department heads Development, Revisions and Improvements in Financial Policies & Procedures Cash flow management Managing functions of Sales to Collection & Credit Control CAPEX and assets management including lease or buy decision with reference to budget and actual spending Monitoring FA tagging and periodical counts. Valuation, investigation and variances analysisKey Achievements: Implementation of JDE (Oracle) of FA and AR modules Implementation and monitoring of Fixed Asset management process.  Introduced a system of monitoring and controlling the function of Sales to Collection for Ministry of Health Receivables; developed an MIS report for the purpose.

Maintaining Receivables of approximately 3000 customers, local & export, worth around USD30Million was indeed a challenge. Controlling aging of the receivables was the foremost responsibility; used to perform below activities and processes for achieving the purpose: Approving new customers opening forms in accordance with Company policies & procedures and keep updating them for day to day issues. Preparing & presenting monthly detailed analysis of aging and AR balances. Calculating DSO’s, comparing them with previous periods and reporting them to the management with cause of changes. Assuring all (export and local) customers are providing balance confirmations and variances are being resolved periodically. Improvement of Accounts Receivables and collection process including following up with Sales Dept. & Key Accounts to keep minimum over-dues in aging. Following up and improving checklist of operations to be performed by regional offices’ AR team. Preparation of all the Schedules of Authorities & SOP & policies of the function. Reviewing and approving LTAs' Revenues & Expenses for both debtors and creditors. Reviewing and approving Commission and incentives of sales department.
