Within the capacity of Introducing Broker setup TrendsFX was a bouquet of many unique and attractive Forex related offerings and services. TrendsFX was actually the continuation of my previous project (ref: Next Consulting) with some obvious uniqueness. The company was established by me with two other partners (in UK & Malaysia). TrendsFX took no time to become somewhat an A grade Introducing Broker to several known brokers worldwide including TadawulFX, Varengold Bank, FXCM, and DukasCopy.Apart from leading the team of online Forex Traders (for Forex Managed Accounts under management), my responsibilities in the company were to manage all the marketing activities. The project was going through radical investment and growth that needed a strong marketing plan to be at the forefront, which I initiated in trying to drive change and build the brand equity. I was the decision maker and responsible for various ATL, BTL and TTL activities including online and offline content to build market share. Driving all Public Relations activities, and to manage the appropriate agencies was some of the main jobs.

With another UK based partner, I was co-founder of Next Consulting (UK) Limited. The company was started in June 2003. The company was a bouquet of many unique and attractive Forex related offerings and services. The principle market was both self traders and investors looking for Forex managed accounts. Within months of its inception the company gathered hundreds of clients worldwide, including the Middle East, UK & USA. Unfortunately, in 2007 the company’s principle broker (Forex Liquidity, LLC - FXLQ) was shut down by the CFTC/NFA and went into receivership.Accordingly I had no option but to close the business, pending recovery of funds from the Receiver. While this lengthy process continues, the company’s clients remain in contact, with funds of most of them still under management. At least such a testing setback has in itself provided invaluable business experience.

The company was used to run four branches in different cities and I was working in its main branch.SKILLS USED:- Forex/Futures dealing desk: responsibility for all day-to-day dealing affairs; operating/administering back-end trading platforms (MT3 & ACT Forex) for routine client’s orders (via online platform and on telephone), quotes on request, honoring client’s orders (MOC, OCO, PL, SL etc.).- Advising VIP group of clients on trading and economic data implications.- Administration of market-making issues and liaison with principal brokers.- Maintenance of records: as In-Charge dealing desk, maintaining full time records including clients’ trading statements and updated balances, and on daily market close, the Company’s daily Profit & Loss.- Provision of written advice: precise articles or market commentary (including graphs, showing possible trade setups) for publication on the company’s notice board and on websites, available for clients to review.
