During my 4-week internship at A. F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of the PwC network), I had the incredible opportunity to work on the external audit of Power Cement, a company under the ownership of Mr. Arif Habib. The experience was invaluable, immersing me in a highly professional environment where I collaborated with a very capable audit team and directly communicated with the client. I gained hands-on experience with audit procedures, which significantly enhanced my understanding of financial statements, as well as my skills in Excel and Power BI. Beyond the technical knowledge, this internship was a real growth experience for me. I was able to work up to my full potential and was recognized for my punctuality, attention to detail, and dedication. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that not only improved my communication skills but also gave me a solid grip on the practical aspects of auditing.
