Working as manager statutory reporting at Faysal Bank Limited. Major responsibilities include:- Review of financial statements, prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the requirements of local laws.- Preparation of presentation on financial statements for board meetings.- Involved in the implementation of new system having financial aspect, including migration to an upgraded version.- Review of daily variances in statement of financial position and profit and loss statement being forwarded to senior management.- Review of monthly budget analysis.- Liaison with external and Central Bank of Pakistan (SBP) auditors.

I was working as a Audit Supervisor reporting to audit manager and audit partner, leading audit engagements through the planning, execution and conclusion stages of statutory audits. Major responsibilities included:- identification of key risk areas by developing risk assessment for critical business processes and defining the audit strategy- development of audit programs including the audit procedures based on the risk assessment- accounting services including assistance to clients in the preparation of financial statements.- advising clients on accounting and related technical matters- working for resolution of critical reportable matters and audit issues- reviewing audit working papers and ensuring appropriate audit procedures have been applied for obtaining reasonable assurance- co-ordination with professionals of various fields e.g. legal, actuarial and IT experts in relation to audit- ensuring that the financial statements comply with all the applicable requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local laws
